MOZ TAYLOR toiled for years in the IT world as a System’s Analyst – User Interface Designer before succumbing to the siren-song of music and making a “leap of faith” into the world of Art, Media & Creation – which eventually led to a second degree in Music.
Since the mid-90’s he has explored the ground between his interests in Technology and Art through numerous projects including music written & produced for PBS, Contemporary Dance choreographies, and his own CD (Let It Flow).
Moz joined Radio Centreville in 2004 as Host and Producer of CINQ-FM’s JAZZ BOULEVARD. His work since 2004 with the program earned a 2009 SOBA award for “Best English Community Radio Program of the Year” and continues every Friday night at midnight. In 2004, Moz, a citizen of both Canada and the US, had just returned to his Canadian homeland after having lived in the US for a decade. Shortly after joining the station, he became a member of the Executive Committee of English Programming at CINQ-FM. As part of the Executive, he helped coordinate and develop the operations of English radio programming.
In 2008 Taylor served on the Board Of Directors of CINQ-FM.
MOZ TAYLOR works in media as a consultant, composer & producer with professional credits in Music, Radio & TV/Film in the US & Canada. He holds degrees in both Business & Music.
